Mill Valley Police Holding Special Enforcement Days in August

MVPD will be more proactive enforcing vehicle and bicycle laws in high traffic areas near schools.

Three days in August the Mill Valley Police Department will be more proactive enforcing vehicle and bicycle laws in high traffic areas near schools, police said.

Officers will be placing an emphasis on the areas around elementary schools and Tamalpais High School, according to police.

The three days are Sunday, this coming Saturday and Aug. 20, according to police.

Schools in Mill Valley will be opening between Wednesday and Aug. 20, police said.

Officers will also place an emphasis on the area around a multi-use path between Sausalito and Mill Valley, police said.

Other law enforcement agencies will be helping the Mill Valley police with enforcement, according to police.
