MMWD Habitat Restoration: Shaver Grade Broom Pull

Saturday, February 21st 9am and noon

We continue our new attack on a leading edge of broom at the top of Shaver Grade. Removing broom gives native plants and trees a better opportunity to thrive, improves habitat for animals, reduces the fire fuel load and improves views. Meet at the new Sky Oaks Gateway at 9am. Parking passes provided.

Restoration events are suitable for ages 8 and up. Volunteers under age 16 must have a parent present at the event. Volunteers under age 18 must bring a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. Contact us for a form.

Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants and dress for variable weather. Bring your lunch and reusable water bottle. MMWD provides breakfast snacks, water and tools.
