New Pedestrian Signs to Be Installed on Center Blvd.
The signs are less expensive to maintain than the current in-ground system.

By the end of the year, the mid-block crossing lights on Center Blvd. will be replaced with two new Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) systems.
Independent studies have shown these RRFB systems to be much more effective than the current in-ground flashing light system.
An added benefit is that the RRFB systems are significantly less expensive to maintain than the current in-ground system.
