One Tam Winter Workday: Bald Hill Broom Bust

Join the Marin Municipal Water District and Marin County Parks remove invasive plant species from Bald Hill

Under the OneTam umbrella -- please join the MMWD and Marin County Parks for our annual Bald Hill Broom Bust! Volunteers will focus on containing the spread of French broom monocultures and also eradicate pioneer patches. Habitat restoration begins at 9am. Ranger Chili lunch follows field work at noon.

Note: this project requires a mile hike uphill to the project site on Worn Springs Fire Road. Parking is limited; carpooling and biking encouraged! Visit www.onetam.org/hands-on-tam for more information and directions

~ 8:30 am -- Meet at Phoenix Lake Dam for an optional guided hike of the worksite

~9:15am to noon -- Break up into teams and begin work
