Artist Mila Kronik began her art education as a child in a Russian art school. Kronik muses. “Visuals of magnificent Volga River, where I grew up, gave me realization of the beauty of the world. I had a chance to spend some personal time with well-known Russian artist Vyachev Tsai and received some training and inspiration from him.”
After graduating from college, Mila ventured to Western Europe, and spent some time in Prague and Florence seeking inspiration in the works of great masters. Surprisingly however, Kronik found her greatest inspiration in ancient Vedic traditions of India. Mila comments. “Experiences that I went through in India changed my life. Many of my paintings still carry inspiration from that journey”. Mila Kronik currently resides in San Anselmo with her husband and young daughter and continues to learn so much from the local artist community.
“With the help of my brush I’m trying to reflect spiritual experiences, devotion and meditation, practice of yoga and divine nature. I hope my work will resonate with you and open another door in your heart.”
