Come join the Parade of Kindness on San Anselmo Avenue!
Make a Difference Day is the largest nation-wide volunteer event of it's kind and in schools all over Marin County students this week declared their intention to perform an act of kindness. Over 2,500 individual pledges have been written on colorful paper and they will form a mobile exhibit that will travel down San Anselmo Avenue and back.
The event begins at 10am in front of the San Anselmo Fire Station. Come to the Make a Difference Day Pledge Table and declare your own act of kindness for the day and join the parade at 10:15am.
At 10:45am in San Anselmo's Imagination Park there will be a reading by best-selling author Andrea Alban Gosline of 10 Little Wishes as well as a givewaway of 35 signed copies of her book. Delicious treats will be provided by Marin Coffee Roasters and The Flour Craft Bakery.
