Pomegranate's Childbirth Education Intensive is taught from a birth doula's perspective and will cover:
-the physiology of birth-optimal fetal positioning-stages of labor and how to handle them-relaxation and comfort measures for labor-partners role-importance of support system and overcoming fear in labor Discussion of formulating a birth plan/preferences along with common procedures and interventions during labor and what to bring to the hospital or birth center.
