Raising a Reader: Bookfair Fundraiser at B&N!

November 29 - December 7: Support Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project by shopping at Barnes & Noble Corte Madera!

Support Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project by shopping at Barnes & Noble in Corte Madera, CA! In an effort to raise funds for their program, which promotes early literacy skills through an evidence-based program model that engages families in a shared reading program and increases low-income children’s access and exposure to books, Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project is working together with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting a Bookfair at the Corte Madera store.

From Saturday, November 29 to Sunday, December 7, 2014, Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of every sale made with a special Bookfair voucher to Raising a Reader of Parent Services Project! Vouchers (#11456415) will be available online at the Parent Services Website http://parentservices.org/. The funds raised from the bookfair will go towards supplying nearly 1,500 blue book bags to students transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten in Marin County.

As part of their bookfair, Raising a Reader will host two Bilingual Storytimes at Barnes & Noble Corte Madera: on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11am and on Saturday, December 6th at 11am. These Storytimes are free and open to the public and the entire community is invited to attend.
