San Anselmo Arts Commission to sponsor music events at San Anselmo Country
Fair Day
The San Anselmo Arts Commission is pleased to sponsor the
Creek Park music events at the San Anselmo Country Fair Day on September 29th
from noon till 3pm.
The concert will kick off with an hour of children’s
tunes lead by the ever-popular Tim Cain. Guitar in
hand, Tim Cain at his sing-along concerts provides an opportunity for children,
as well as
parents, to participate in a positive group experience with singing
and movement. His warmth, good humor, and spontaneity make his shows engaging
and accessible to all. Lots of laughter accompanies a rollicking good time. Tim
knows that happy childhoods last a lifetime, and his efforts contribute to that
goal by giving young audiences a dose of joy that they'll cherish and remember.
Prepare to rock from 1pm till 3pm when 60’s rock band
Revolver takes the stage. Revolver is a trio of seasoned musicians who grew up
rocking to the sounds of the 60's. Inspired by the songwriting and melodic
hooks of groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beau Brummels, Hollies,
Kinks, Animals, Lovin' Spoonful and Buffalo Springfield, they took up
instruments and formed groups to experience the energy and sensations of
playing in a fired-up band. Revolver
is: Michael Budash on guitars,
keyboards and vocals, Barry Blum on bass guitar, guitars, keyboards and vocals,
and Dan Durkin on drums, rhythm guitar, keyboards, harmonica and vocals.
