San Anselmo, Fairfax Residents Invited to Apply to Marin County Library Commission
Opening is for a representative from District 2.

The following is a news release from the County of Marin:
The Marin County Library Commission has an opening for a representative from District 2, which covers parts of Ross Valley and San Rafael.
The Library Commission serves as a resource and liaison to the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the Director of County Library Services, and the community. Its mission is to find ways and means of enlisting public interest in supporting and improving library services.

Residents of Gerstle Park, Lomita Park, Bret Harte, Sleepy Hollow, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Ross, Kentfield, Greenbrae and downtown Larkspur are eligible for the open position.
Regular commission meetings are at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month, unless it falls on a holiday. The location rotates among library branches.

Apply online or learn more about the application process by calling the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (415) 473-7331. You can also request an application by mail at Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Suite 329, 3501 Civic Center Drive, San Rafael CA 94903.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. November 14. Those postmarked but not received by the deadline will not be accepted.
