San Anselmo's Country Fair Day is This Sunday

The biggest community event in San Anselmo is only a few days away! Country Fair Day is this Sunday, September 27th and is a great family friendly event with a pancake breakfast, parade, kids activities (yes there is a zip line down San Anselmo Ave), live music, delicious food, and much more. A huge thanks to our sponsors Bradley Real Estate, United Markets, San Anselmo Arts Commission, and the San Anselmo Chamber!

Schedule of Events:

• Pancake Breakfast, 7‐11 a.m. at the Downtown Fire Station

• Booths and Kids Entertainment, 10 am-3 pm San Anselmo Avenue between Pine and Tamalpais Avenues. Bounce Zone, Hamster Balls, Rock Wall, Train, Mechanical Bulls and a 220 ft Zip Line are just some of the great activities that are lined up!

• Parade down San Anselmo Avenue, 11 a.m.

• Food and Music in Creek Park, 12‐3 p.m. The Creek Park Stage opens at Noon for some live music! Food and drink options will include True North, Pig n’ Pie, Shuck and Cluck, and the Parks & Recreation Commission’s Beverage Booth featuring beer, wine and non-alcoholic choices. As usual United Markets will host the annual “Taste Row” where you can try many artisan delights.

• Baking Contest: We are continuing the amateur baking contest for Apple Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookies! Pick up a registration form at the Recreation Department. at Town Hall or online at Baking Contest Forms Here. Fill it out by Thursday, September 24th and return to the Recreation Department with a $5 entry fee. All ages are invited. Bring your entry to the Council Chambers by 9 a.m. on Fair Day. Judges will announce the winners at 10:45 a.m., just before the parade. We’re looking forward to a wonderful, community day.
