San Rafael Checkpoint Nets Two Arrest, Five Citations

Police in San Rafael arrested two unlicensed drivers and issued five citations for moving or mechanical violations Friday night during a sobriety checkpoint.
The checkpoint was held on Point San Pablo Road at Harbor View Court.
In all 1,643 vehicles drove through the checkpoint, 1,493 drivers were screened for licenses and 31 drivers were administered field sobriety tests, police said.
