
Sawyer Rose is a mixed-media and sculpture artist. Inspired by the native plants of California, Rose sculpts abstracted organic and botanical forms in layers of molten silver solder. In this talk, she will discuss her materials, the evolution of her techniques, and the ways in which California’s flora influences her work which will be on display at the Fairfax Library during the month of June.
