THIS THURSDAY: Fairfax Local History Talk, 500 Years to Present

Sustainable Fairfax is hosting a fascinating talk on the local history of Fairfax this Thursday at the Women's Club

Please join Sustainable Fairfax for a local history talk by Rebecca Burgess, Executive Director of the non-profit organization Fibershed, this Thursday, October 2 at 7:00pm at the Fairfax Women’s Club located at 46 Park Road. Fairfax, which is a town known for stunning landscapes and as a place of retreat, has a history that dates back 13,000 years prior to the European footprint. Understanding our collective history is critical to sculpting our thriving future.

The event sponsored by Sustainable Fairfax, Fairfax Parks and Recreation, and the Fairfax Chamber. There is a suggested donation of $10. Please contact SustainFX@gmail.com with any questions.
