Vital Ministry for a New Generation: An Evening with Carol Howard Merritt

Carol Howard Merritt is hosting a forum at San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS) to discuss the changing influence of the church in American culture, and specifically on younger generations. What will the future of ministry in, with, and by a new generation look like in the face of this new religious landscape? She will discuss the ways in which we are already adapting, and how we can continue to work through our current structures, sort out the best parts, acknowledge and heal from the worst parts, and reframe it all.

Merritt is a pastor at Western Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., the award-winning author of Tribal Church (Alban Institute, 2007) and Reframing Hope (Alban Institute, 2010), and the Co-Host of the God Complex Radio podcast. Directly prior to this event, she is participating in Uncoference West 2013 (UNCO13), which is also on the SFTS campus.

To enjoy the opportunity to attend Vital Ministry for a New Generation: An Evening with Carol Howard Merritt, register today! The event is free to attend, and refreshments will be served.
