2 New San Bruno Employees and 1 Starting In September 2018

The City of San Bruno has finalized hiring 2 new staff and the 3rd will start in September 2018.

These 3 new employees should be attending the Council meetings. Attend and welcome them to our City.

The City’s new Finance Director, Keith DeMartini comes to work in San Bruno from the City of San Francisco where he has held Finance, Budget and IT Manager positions in the Planning and Public Works Departments - each division with as many or many more employees than our entire City. Keith’s most recent position in San Francisco was in the Controller’s Office where he was specifically recruited to oversee a City-wide financial and procurement software system implementation. Keith grew up in San Bruno and still has family here. He currently lives in San Francisco with his family. Keith has a Master of Public Administration from San Francisco State University.

The City’s new Cable Director, Sandeep Krishnamurthy has held a variety of positions in the cable television industry with start-ups and established companies alike. Most recently he spent the last several years of his career working as a management consultant for various companies venturing into streaming video markets. Sandeep has broad experience and understanding of the telecommunications business, with a focus on business development and distribution in diverse national and international markets. Sandeep has a Master of Arts Degree in International Studies from the University of Denver. Sandeep currently lives in Pleasanton with his family.

Joanne Magrini will begin her employment as the City’s new Community Services Director in September. She comes from the University of San Francisco’s Recreational Sports Department, where she has worked for over twenty years. Joanne has managed building operations including hiring and training staff, financial accounting operations, and program management for the Koret Health and Recreation Center. Joanne will bring a wealth of management and recreation experience that will serve the City of San Bruno, and the San Bruno community very well. Joanne is a San Bruno native, who is still active in the community. She currently lives in Emerald Hills with her husband. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Sports and Fitness Management from University of San Francisco.
