Alert Resident Credited with Foiling San Bruno Break-in

Three minors were ultimately arrested, according to police.

SAN BRUNO, CA- Three juveniles were arrested in San Bruno early Saturday morning after police allegedly found them rummaging through a stolen vehicle.

An alert resident reported three suspects looking into vehicles in the 500 block of Elm Avenue around 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

Responding officers found them several blocks away allegedly going through a vehicle parked at a municipal pool. That vehicle had been stolen from the 400 block of Elm Avenue, according to police.

Other vehicles in the area were also found to have been tampered with, police said.

All three minors were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, police said.
