On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 9:17 pm, San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at Speedy Spot, 701 Jenevein Avenue, San Bruno. A subsequent investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the store and pointed a firearm at the clerk. The suspect demanded property, but the clerk picked up the phone causing the suspect to flee.
The armed suspect is described a white male, approximately 32 years old, with brown hair, beard and mustache. He was approximately 5’6” tall with a heavyset build. The suspect was wearing a khaki sun hat, black/gray shirt and shorts. A photograph of the suspect taken from surveillance footage is attached to this release.
