On Tuesday, July 23, 2018, at 4:13 p.m., a subject telephoned San Bruno City Hall and threatened to “blow up” the building.

The ensuing investigation identified the suspect as 38-year-old Keith Gillam, a San Bruno resident. At approximately 11:00 a.m. on July 24, 2018, San Bruno Police Detectives located Gillam and placed him under arrest for making criminal threats, a felony.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at Gillam’s residence. No explosive devices or materials were located during execution of the search warrant, but two firearms and other items of evidence were seized.

Gillam was booked into San Mateo County Jail for charges related to making criminal threats. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
