On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at 1:40 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to a parking lot near the Shops at Tanforan regarding a report of two adult subjects looking into parked vehicles.
Officers arrived and detained two subjects fitting the description provided by the witness. An investigation revealed that the subjects were attempting to burglarize vehicles parked in the lot. Both subjects were also found to be in possession of burglary tools.
The two subjects were identified a twenty year old Calvin Pollard and twenty-three year old Robert Hamilton, both residents of San Francisco. Pollard and Hamilton were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to attempted auto burglary, conspiracy to commit auto burglary, and the possession of burglary tools:
