On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at approximately 11:42 am, San Bruno Police Officers responded to Wells Fargo Bank located at 875 El Camino Real in San Bruno regarding the report of a bank robbery.

Officers learned that a subject had entered the bank, threatened to shoot a teller and demanded cash. The subject fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers on scene quickly obtained a description of the suspect and later located sixty-two year old San Francisco resident Gerald Billman who was identified as the individual who had committed this crime. Billman was arrested accordingly and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to bank robbery and criminal threats. No firearm was recovered, nor was a firearm ever seen in Billman’s possession. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
