I am so very proud of our BPAC colleagues as we perform another fantastic “Community Service” activity with our dedicated and active participation in the “Fifth Annual San Bruno Community Day in the Park.”

Special “THANKS” and “ACCOLAIDES” is extended to Committee Vice Chairman Henry Mar and Committee Member Adam Cozzette who once again performed another fabulous “Outreach” activity interacting with so many family members and individuals of our San Bruno Community.

Community Development Director, David Woltering, was also present at a table adjacent to ours and took many photos of us and our speaking with our visitors to our information table.

Thanks to everyone for a very successful day of “Outreach!” We distributed our flyers “Ten Bicycle Safety Tips” created by Walter Bird and me following the tragic bicycle accident and death of a Parkside Intermediate School girl; it is unbelievable that this happening ten years ago. Other items presented to the public included the ever-popular temporary tattoos, safety stickers, coloring books for which thanks is extended to our capable staff member, Madeline Lopez, for facilitating the purchase of these popular items that really promoted our goals.

Also, thanks is extended to Gina Javier, Program Representative of Comute.org who provided us with “Bike to Work” bike bags, very fancy ball point pens, and pamphlets about biking and walking throughout San Mateo County.

The weather was magnificent and the crowd participation was spectacular!

A wonderful time was enjoyed by a very large crowd of attendees!

Thanks a million,
