1. Ketra Recalls to Inspect Recessed Downlights Due to Electrical Shock Hazard:

Name of Product:

Ketra D3 recessed downlights

Hazard:

The downlights power supply connectors can have incorrect wiring, posing an electric shock hazard to the user.

Remedy: Repair

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled downlights and contact the firm to schedule a free inspection and, if needed, repair by a technician. Consumers should not try to inspect or repair the units themselves. Warnings and instructions must be followed to disconnect power prior to servicing, removing or replacing the recalled products.

Description:

This recall involves the Ketra D3 recessed downlights produced between November 4, 2016 and March 14, 2018. The date code is located on a sticker attached to each unit and is in the format KWWYY representing WW-work week and YY-year of manufacture. Only downlights with date codes between K4816 and K1118 are included in this recall. The Ketra D3 downlight is typically installed behind a ceiling and the light generated by the LED illuminates the space below. The light fixture enclosure measures 18.5 inches by 10 inches by 4 inches. The downlight is dark gray and black and weighs approximately eight pounds.

Incidents/Injuries:

The firm has received two reports of incorrect wiring found in the downlights by an electrician. No injuries have been reported.

Sold At:

Authorized Ketra lighting distributors and specialty audio/video stores nationwide from November 2016 through April 2018 for between $550 and $750.

2. A&I Recalls Tractor Canopies Due To Injury Hazard:

A& I tractor canopies

Hazard:

The canopies do not meet design specifications and can cause the tractor’s Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) to fail to protect the operator in a rollover accident, posing an injury hazard.

Remedy: Repair

Consumers should immediately stop using tractors with a recalled canopy and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free repair.

3. Lorex Recalls Three Models of Video Monitors Due to Burn Hazard:

Lorex video monitors models LW2751, LW2752 and LW2962H

Hazard:

The video monitor’s batteries can overheat, swell and expand and cause the battery cover to open or come off and expose hot batteries, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Remedy: Refund

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled monitors and contact Lorex for instructions on receiving a full refund.

Description:

This recall involves Lorex brand video monitors models LW2751, LW2752 and LW2962H used with surveillance video systems. The video monitors are black and were sold in two sizes; 7 inch wide by 5 inches tall and 9 inches wide by 6 inches tall. The video monitors contain a blue lithium polymer battery. “LOREX” is printed on the top left of the monitor screen. The model and serial numbers are printed on the top or on the back panel of the monitors. Only monitors with the following model and serial numbers are included in the recall.

The hanging hardware can break and allow the decor to fall, posing an injury hazard to bystanders.

Remedy: Replace

Consumers should immediately take the recalled decor off the wall and inspect the hanging hardware to check for the recalled metal adjustable j-hooks. If the decor has the recalled metal adjustable j-hooks, do not re-hang the recalled decor. This recall involves various types of mirrors, art and wall décor sold with adjustable j-hook hanging hardware. The recalled hardware has item number 1703, 1704, 1705 or 1706 printed on the back bottom portion of the j-hook and on the hardware’s box. The recalled adjustable j-hooks measure approximately 3.5 inches long and 0.75 inches wide. Incidents/Injuries:
