SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA- An elderly South San Francisco woman found a burglar rummaging through her home on Tuesday night, police said this week.

The woman, who lives in the 2300 block of Bourbon Court, heard a noise at about 8:40 p.m. and when she investigated she found the man, according to police.

He is described as standing 5 feet 2 inches or 5 feet 3 inches tall and was wearing a black baseball hat, a black jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers at the time.

He may have fled in a dark older-model sedan, but police were unable to confirm that.
