The current show at the Society of Western Artists Fine Art Center, 527 San Mateo Ave., San Bruno (3 storefronts north of Starbucks) runs until September 28, 2018.

The Center is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

A reception will be held on Saturday, August 25, from 1:00-2:30 pm.

Judges were signature members Ann Basuino, Doris Guzman and Helen Scheel.

The representational art first place award went to Tony Pepito for his watercolor Broadway & Main, (BELOW)


second place went to Arena Shawn for her watercolor Between Earth and Sky, (BELOW)

and third place was awarded to Laurie Rodriguez for her oil Ehu Girl. (BELOW)

The non-representational honorable mention award went to Barbara Todd for her oil Convergence.(BELOW)

Other show participants are Barbara Alger, Martha Bredwell, Joe Crosetti, Diana Day Glynn, Marilyn Downes-Bennett, Anneliese Drbal, Lynne Flodin, Sheila Gordon, Pat McMorrow, Leona Moriarty, Yvonne Newhouse, Rose Nieponice, LaVey Norquist, Karen Orton, Fran Simontacchi, Sharon Slusarz Harris, and Sherry Vockel.

The 2018 Annual Most Popular Painting award to Laurie Rodriguez for her oil titled Innocence Broken.
