Great Fire & Police Response To Belle Air District
Thank you Fire and Police for your response today

Article Source: Robert Riechel

Saturday October 28 2017 there was a new asphalt roof being applied on 7th Avenue in the Belle Air neighborhood. Homes here are very compact and some are occupied by many residents. These conditions if a fire starts could easily quickly effect MANY.

Somehow the some asphalt shingles bundles being installed caught on fire on the roof.

San Bruno CA Fire Department quickly dispatched engines from San Bruno, South San Francisco, and Central County Fire along with the battalion chief and at least 3 San Bruno Police units. I believe there could have been 5-6 engines, one staged at 7th and Angus.
The fire was quickly put out using the garden hose as bundles of smoldering shingles were tossed onto the front yard.
