Millbrae Carjacking Suspect Sought After Allegedly Running Over Victim
A 64-year-old man was run down in his own driveway after someone stole his car, sheriff's officials said.

A carjacking suspect ran a Millbrae man over with his own car Friday before fleeing the scene, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim, a 64-year-old man, told deputies he had left his car running in his driveway near South Ashton Avenue and Millbrae avenues around 8:45 a.m. while he went inside his home to retrieve some forgotten items. When he returned, he heard a car door slam and saw a man sitting in the driver’s seat.
“The suspect struck the victim with the vehicle, knocking him down to the pavement and running him over,” sheriff’s officials said in a news release. “He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.”
