Construction crews have begun to clean up the wreckage and many police officers from across the Peninsula remain to secure the area. Life in the West San Bruno neighborhood outside of the area that suffered the worst devastation (which is still blocked off by police barricades) has regained a semblance of normalcy, but the memory of the tragic accident and the deceased and missing continues to cast a shadow over residents' lives.
