August 7 2018 (1st Tuesday in August in most cities) saw multiple Neighborhood Watch blocks holding a National Night Out event. There was a fall back location in San Bruno

where residents from blocks that were not from a Neighborhood Watch block could gather, eat a little, and meet other neighbors and talk to the Chief of Police, Fire Chief, new City Manager, and many City Department heads, many Explorer Scouts, police personnel, and fire fighters.

most officials split up and took off as they had 8 locations to visit.
Mark your calendar for the 1st Tuesday in 2019 and plan to have your own Neighborhood Watch block and hold your own National Night Out Block event.
The San Bruno Citizens' Crime Prevention Committee (under which the Neighborhood Watch Program is run) meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Room 113. Police Chief Barberini attends most meetings and residents are always welcome. See you the 2nd Thursday.
