At the August 22 2017 San Bruno CA Council meeting, it was announced that there is now an opening on the Community Preparedness Committee.
Purpose

The committee promotes emergency preparedness planning and education to prepare residents to mitigate the potential consequences of natural and man-made disasters.

The Committee meets the third Thursday of the month, at 6:30 p.m., at City Hall in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

The City of San Bruno has several Citizen Advisory Commissions, Boards and Committees, whose volunteer members are San Bruno residents appointed by the City Council. Members meet in the evening, once a month or less, serving staggered four-year terms that expire in October of every even year, at that time they may wish to seek re-appointment for another term.
You may apply any time, applications are kept on file for two years. When vacancies occur, applicants will be contacted and invited to attend a brief informal interview with the mayor and council.
