Police Looking for Suspect in SSF Strong-Arm Robbery
The suspect grabbed deposit bags from a customer waiting in line inside a bank lobby and ran into a waiting car.

Police are looking for a man suspected of a strong-arm robbery that happened in a bank in South San Francisco Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 3:04 p.m. Friday in the lobby of a Bank of America branch at 955 El Camino Real.

While a bank customer was waiting in line with deposit bags from a nearby business the suspect grabbed the bags and ran to a get-away vehicle in the parking lot before fleeing south on El Camino Real towards San Bruno,
according to police.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and checks, police said.

The suspect is described as a thin black man, roughly 6 feet tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a red cap. The suspect vehicle is described as a charcoal-gray compact car, possibly a Honda, according to police.
