This week marks the one-year anniversary of an unsolved hit and run accident in San Bruno, CA when 29-year-old Carly Flynn was struck by an automobile and killed as she was walking home from Bay Hill Shopping Center.
This accident occurred at approximately 5:30PM on December 19th, 2016 at the intersection of San Bruno Ave and Cherry Avenue in San Bruno.

Someone in a white SUV hit Carly while she was in the crosswalk on San Bruno Ave just steps away from the curb.
Investigators said the driver never stopped.

The San Bruno Police Department has conducted an exhaustive investigation over the last 12 months, but needs either the public’s help in further identifying the driver or for the driver to come forward and do the right thing by admitting he or she was responsible.
Anyone with information pertaining to this case is urged to contact the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100 or by email at sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov. Information can be left anonymously.
A press conference will be held at 10:30 AM on December 20th at Commodore Park, 1012 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA, which is just a few blocks from where the accident occurred. A representative of the San Bruno Police Department, Carly’s father Mike Flynn, as well as former FBI agent Rick Smith of Cannon Street Inc. will be in attendance.
Mr. Smith is a private investigator retained by Carly’s family to act as a consultant and to liaison with the San Bruno Police Department in this case.
