Recycle Your Oil

Are YOU doing your part?

Article Source: County of San Mateo

Where is your nearest Used Motor Oil & Filter Recycling

Steps
1. Collect used oil in a clean, sturdy container with a screw on top.
2. Put your used filter in a sealed plastic bag.
3. Call the collection center before you visit - ask about limitations & hours.
4. When you get to the collection center, bring the oil & filter to a staff member.

Used motor oil mixed with anything (water, antifreeze, gasoline, etc.) is contaminated and must be disposed of as household hazardous waste.

Do not take contaminated motor oil to a collection center.

Thank you for keeping our environment clean!
