New Exhibit: Redwood City in Bloom

The San Mateo County History Museum will open a new exhibit on May 20, entitledRedwood City in Bloom, featuring photographs depicting the historic floral industry that at one time characterized the entire community.

The exhibit will run through September 10 and is presented as part of Redwood City’s sesquicentennial observances.

The May 20 opening will coincide with a large public celebration of the City’s 150 year history on Courthouse Square, adjacent to the Museum.

Both the celebration and the exhibit opening will be FREE on May 20.
