On Monday, August 17, 2015, the San Bruno Police Department responded to the Target Store, regarding a report of a fraud. Upon arrival, officers were directed toward two suspects involved in the crime. Both subjects fled from police on foot into the nearby JC Penney Department Store. While inside JC Penney’s one suspect assaulted an officer by throwing a glass display table at him and punching the officer in the face. This suspect was subsequently taken into custody. The pursuing officer was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The investigation revealed the two suspects had been involved in credit card fraud. Stone Joshua, a twenty year old resident of Antioch, California was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County jail on felony charges of assault likely to cause serious injury, assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest, and credit card fraud.
The second suspect, described as an African-American female, twenty-five to thirty years old, weighing approximately one hundred and fifty pounds, and wearing a blue and white football jersey remains outstanding.
