Candidate Davis, in her prepared statement:

" You may be asking the questions:

  • Why is she running
  • Why did she pull papers on the very last day!!

Simply… I care, I’m concerned about the future of San Bruno

  • Who sits on the City Council does matter
  • Voters should care who sits there
  • Voters should look for qualities that seek first to represent their cities needs while being mindful of the needs of the city
  • Who has the intelligence and desire to do the hard work and thoughtful governing
  • Who will ask polite but tough questions to ensure tax payers are getting their money’s worth
  • Streets are getting paved, the fire department arrives within 4 – 5 minute
  • Someone who simply cares about our city and its future

Laura provided San Bruno Patch with the following:

LAURA DAVIS

Age: 51

Occupation: Customer Service Partner / Cal Water

Qualifications:

I want to serve the community that has given so much to my family and me for the past 51 years. Growing up I worked in our family business, Roma Delicatessen, where I learned the importance of hard work,
community, and giving back.

My husband and I made our home in San Bruno, raised our children, and built a life in this special
community. I want my children and San Bruno residents to be safe and thrive.

My City Council priorities include youth and senior services, police and fire departments, clean and safe
neighborhoods, supporting local schools and small businesses, ensuring a strong local economy, and focusing on the future potential of San Bruno.

As a Council Member I will listen, respect all opinions, and make transparent, decisions that put San
Bruno residents first. I will ensure our City lives within its means; saves money for future needs; and respects the value of your tax dollars.

As the current Vice Chair of San Bruno’s Parks & Recreation Commission, I have worked hard to ensure neighborhoods gets equal share of city services. I have worked on our local Relay for Life to raise funds for cancer patients, supported Capuchino High School, and volunteered as a member of Saint Roberts’ Parish.

I would be honored to serve you on the City Council.
