AGENDA - SAN BRUNO CITY COUNCIL - July 10, 2018 - 7:00 p.m.

Meeting Location: San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Road, San Bruno, CA

City Council meetings are conducted in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised and City Council Rules of Procedure. You may address any agenda item by standing at the microphone until recognized by the Council. All regular Council meetings are recorded and televised on CATV Channel I and replayed the following Thursday, at 2:00 pm. You may listen to recordings in the City Clerk's Office, purchase CD's, access our web site at www.sanbruno.ca.çiov or check out copies at the Library. We welcome your participation. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals requiring reasonable accommodations or appropriate alternative formats for notices, agendas and records for this meeting should notify us 48 hours prior to meeting. 3. ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• The Beautification Task Force is accepting nominations for the Annual Beautification Awards Program. Applications can be found on the website as well as in the City Clerk's office. The deadline is Friday, August 17, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
• The Regular City Council Meeting of August 14, 2018 is cancelled. The next regularly scheduled City Council Meeting will be held on August 28, 2018.

5. CONSENT CALENDAR: All items are considered routine or implement an earlier Council action and maybe enacted

by one motion; there will be no separate discussion, unless requested.

• Approve: Minutes of Special and Regular City Council Meetings of June 26, 2018.
• Approve: Accounts Payable of June 25, 2018.
• Approve: Payroll of June 15, 2018.
• Accept: Reconciliation of General Ledger to Bank Reports and Investment Reports Dated May 31, 2018.
• Appoint Councilmember O'Connell as the Voting Delegate for the Annual League of California Cities Conference Being Held September 12-14, 2018 in Long Beach and Appoint an Alternate Delegate.

8. PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA: Individuals allowed three minutes, groups in attendance, five minutes. If you are unable to remain at the meeting, ask the City Clerk to request that the Council consider your comments earlier. It is the Council's policy to refer matters raised in this forum to staff for investigation and/or action where appropriate. The Brown Act prohibits the Council from discussing or acting upon any matter not agendized pursuant to State Law.

9. CONDUCT OF BUSINESS:

• Receive Report on the July 4, 2018 Fireworks Related Activities.
• Appoint Citizens to Fill Vacancies on San Bruno's Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Community Preparedness Committee and Traffic Safety & Parking Committee.
• Waive First Reading and Introduce Ordinance Regulating Cultivation and Prohibiting the Manufacture, Processing, Laboratory Testing, Labeling, Storing, Wholesale, and Retail Distribution of Non-Medical Cannabis.
• Receive Report and Provide Direction to Staff Regarding Short Term Residential Rentals.
• Adopt Resolution Authorizing an Increase in Fines for Parking Violations Defined in the California Vehicle Code and the San Bruno Municipal Code.
• Adopt Resolution Approving Service Level Enhancements for Fiscal Year 2018-19 Operating Budget.
