Dear SMUHSD and School Community Member:
At the December 13th board meeting, the staff will propose a new central location for Peninsula High. For more than 10 years, the SMUHSD has been looking for a location for Peninsula High that would enable students to more easily access their high school. The team is excited to bring this potential location to the Board for consideration.

As has been discussed over the past year, finding a new central location for Peninsula High also opens up opportunities to further explore employee housing so that our district can attract the most talented staff to serve our students and families. “Housing” is not on the agenda, but because finding a central location for Peninsula High is the first critical piece in being able to further explore employee housing, we wanted to make you aware of the board agenda topic of Peninsula High.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.
