DATE OCCURRED: December 14, 2015

TIME OCCURRED: 11:09 P.M.

CONTACT PERSON: Lieutenant Tim Mahon

On Monday, December 14, 2015, at 11:09 P.M., a San Bruno Police Officer was flagged down by an individual in the area of Commodore Drive and El Camino Real in San Bruno. The subject directed the officer to a blue sedan that was fleeing the area, and advised the officer that the vehicle’s occupants had just stolen his cellular telephone.

Officers detained four occupants in the identified vehicle. An ensuing investigation revealed that the cellular telephone was taken during the course of a robbery that occurred during a prostitution transaction. As the investigation progressed, officers learned that one of the occupants, a seventeen year old female, had been forced to commit acts of prostitution by the other three occupants of the vehicle. The following suspects were arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to human trafficking, pimping, pandering, conspiracy, and robbery:

· Dominic Sears, twenty years of age of Antioch

· Dylan Coney Jones, nineteen years of age of Pittsburgh

· Tristan Love, twenty years of age of Vacaville.

In October of this year the San Bruno City Council adopted an anti-human trafficking proclamation. The City of San Bruno and its Police Department remain committed to combating human trafficking and protecting those who are victimized by this type of activity.

The San Bruno Police Department’s Investigative Services Section is investigating this case. Anyone with any information pertaining to this case is urged to contact the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100 or by email at
