(SAN BRUNO, CA) – On Saturday, November 7 at 11:00am, The Shops at Tanforan welcomes Santa Claus to his holiday cottage, located in Center Court. Santa’s arrival activities will begin at 10:00amas Super Heroes Captain America and Spider- Man make an appearance to greet the children. Santa visits and photos will begin on November 7 and will take place in his cottage from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Santa Photo prices range from $15.95 to $49.95. Each child that visits Santa will receive FREE reindeer ears, color crayons and an activity book. In addition, on November 7, The Shops at Tanforan launches a four-week Holiday Heroes program, which runs November 14 through December 11. Nominated Holiday Heroes will have the chance to win a $250 mall gift card.

The Shops at Tanforan’s Holiday Heroes program honors local heroes including active military, veterans, first responders (fire, EMT’s) and teachers. Heroes can stop by the Mall Office and show their work ID to receive a free $10 mall gift card. Gift cards can be picked up on the following dates: Military Personnel: Nov. 14-20, First Responders: Nov. 21-27; Teachers: Nov. 28-24; Police Officers (CHP, Sherriff): Dec. 5-11. The Shops at Tanforan also encourages the community to nominate a local hero via The Shops at Tanforan’s Facebook page. For more information, visit The Shops at Tanforan website. Each week one winning Holiday Hero will be awarded a $250 mall gift card and drawings will take place weekly on Fridays. Entries can be made once a day, every day on The Shops at Tanforan’s Facebook page during the four-week program and winners will be selected at random.
