On Tuesday, September 22, 2015, San Bruno Police Officers initiated an investigation regarding vehicles that had been stolen from a local auto center in San Bruno. The stolen vehicles had been dropped off at the auto center to be serviced.
The investigation led San Bruno Police Detectives to the residence of a former employee of the auto center located on the 2500 block of Mayood Drive in San Bruno.
One of the stolen vehicles was located at the residence. Shortly thereafter, the resident at that address, Aifala Stanley, was contacted driving an additional vehicle that had been reported stolen.
Stanley was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for auto theft. The involved vehicles have been returned to the registered owners.
