San Bruno PD: Man Arrested for 2 Recent Burglaries

Police say the South San Francisco man was caught red-handed, inside a home he was allegedly burglarizing.

SAN BRUNO, CA- Officers arrested a South San Francisco man Sunday in San Bruno on suspicion of burglarizing two homes, police said.

Officers arrested Antonio Patino, 45, at a home they suspect him of attempting to burglarize.

On Sunday, shortly before 3 a.m., San Bruno police responded to a report of a burglary at a home in the 600 block of Elm Avenue, police said.

A resident told police the suspect, later identified as Patino, had broken a garage door window and was inside the residence. While officers were en route, Patino left the house and allegedly broke into another. Officers found him in the second home and arrested him without incident, police said.

He was booked into the San Mateo County jail. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact San Bruno police at (650) 616-7100.
