DATE OCCURRED: September 23, 2017

TIME OCCURRED: 7:22 p.m.

On Saturday, September 23, 2017, at approximately 7:22 p.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of National Avenue, San Bruno, regarding the report of a robbery that had just occurred. The investigation revealed that two suspects entered an apartment and forcefully stole a pet cat from the victim. The victim was assaulted with pepper spray by one of the suspects during the robbery. With the assistance of the San Francisco Police Department, the two suspects were located and arrested in San Francisco. The suspects are identified as:

26-year-old Oleksandr Mirza (male) of San Francisco

26-year-old Ching Yen (female) of San Francisco

Both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for charges related to robbery, burglary, unlawful use of tear gas, and conspiracy.
