San Bruno Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect

Police say a woman was unloading groceries when she was grabbed from behind.

SAN BRUNO - Police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman Sunday night in San Bruno as she was unloading groceries from her car.

At around 9:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of a sexual assault in the 700 block of Shelter Creek Lane, according to police. The victim told police the male suspect came up from behind and grabbed her.

The victim was able to fight off the suspect and he fled on foot, heading south on Shelter Creek lane, police said.

Police described the suspect as a dark skinned male wearing a black puffy jacket with a hood.
