San Bruno Target Shoplifting Investigation Leads to Meth Bust

Store employees identified a man as a shoplifting suspect, and when police questioned him, they say they found drugs.

SAN BRUNO, CA- Two people were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of theft and possession of drugs at a store in San Bruno, according to police.

Police said officers responded at 11:03 a.m. to reports of theft at a Target located at 1150 El Camino Real. During the investigation, police said they approached 22-year-old Gerald Revilla of San Francisco after store employees identified him as a shoplifting suspect.

Upon further investigation, police said they found that both Revilla and 43-year-old Victory Mangawang of South San Francisco were in possession of illegal drugs.

Police said Revilla was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and possession of heroin, as well as prior arrest warrants, and Mangawang was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of sale.

Both suspects were booked into jail.
