Join CHP and Local Law Enforcement in Celebrating National Night Out - Tuesday, August 4, 2015
The California Highway Patrol invites you to join us as we celebrate National Night Out - Tuesday, August 4, 2015.
National Night Out is a nationwide program designed to promote relationships between neighbors and to strengthen the bond between police and the community. Our goal is to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Communities across the Bay Area will come together and celebrate through block parties, fairs, and other fun gatherings. By coming together, neighbors can meet one another and foster the neighborhood spirit, while sending a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and ready to fight crime. Each year, National Night Out brings together community members, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and local officials from over 16,000 communities in all 50 states, as well as in US territories, Canadian cities, and military bases across the world. Last year, over 40 million people participated in the 2014 National Night Out event.
The CHP will be out in our communities across the Bay Area, in cooperation with our local law enforcement agencies, community groups, and neighborhoods. Join us at the following locations:
Alameda County:
- Kickoff Party at Pleasanton Police Department 5:00 PM
- St. John’s Catholic Church Party (264 E. Lewelling Blvd., Castro Valley) 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Block Parties in Livermore (Ravenswood Park, Civic Center Park, Almond Park)
- Block Parties in Dublin, Pleasanton, Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, Fremont, Union City, and Newark
Contra Costa County:
-National Night Out and Child Safety Fair (5001 Blum Rd., Martinez) 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
-Alhambra Valley Block Party
-Arlington Heights Block Party 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
-Creekside Church Block Party, Martinez
Marin County:
- Block Parties in Novato
Napa County:
- Target Napa (205 Soscol Ave., Napa) 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
San Francisco:
- Filbert Street Block Party (680 Filbert St., SF) 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

San Mateo County:
- Holbrook-Palmer Park (Atherton) 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Helicopter landing at 7:30 PM)
Santa Clara County:
- Block Parties at Hayes Mansion, Basking Ridge, Silver Leaf, Almaden Valley & Redwood Estates Mountain
Solano County:
- South Vallejo National Night Out & Resource Fair (900 6th Street, Vallejo) 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Falati Park (Fairfield) – Helicopter Landing at 6:15 PM
- Hall Park (Suisun City) – Helicopter landing at 5:30 PM
- Tabor Park (Fairfield) 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- The Sycamores Apartments (Vacaville) 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Brian Preciado Residence (Vacaville) 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Sonoma County:
