The City of San Bruno Public Works Department will be holding a Public Meeting on December 19, 2017 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center to provide information on the upcoming construction of the San Mateo Avenue Water and Sewer Replacement Project within your neighborhood.
The proposed project is part of the City's on-going water and wastewater improvement program to replace aging and antiquated infrastructure. The project consists of removal and installation of underground water and sewer main lines along San Mateo Avenue (between Angus Avenue and El Camino Real) to provide a more reliable water and sewer service.
The construction was anticipated to start in September 2017. Due to the issues with procurement of the sanitary sewer pipeline, the project has been delayed and will begin in January 2018. The duration of the construction is anticipated to be approximately five (5) months.
During construction, you may experience some inconvenience such as equipment noise, dust, displaced street parking and temporary road closures. Construction time will be limited to 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Construction work on Saturdays and Sundays is not anticipated. Temporary no-parking restrictions will be posted three days prior to construction.
The City is conducting a public meeting to describe the work involved in the project in more detail. The City seeks your comments to assist the City and the contractor to plan the project work in a manner that minimizes impacts to the surrounding area. Residents/property/business owners are encouraged to attend and provide comments. The meeting will allow the City an opportunity to address any comments prior to commencing construction. The meeting will begin at 9:30 am at the Bay Area Entrepreneur Center, 458 San Mateo Avenue, San Bruno, California. ALCANTARILLAS SOBRE LA AVENIDA SAN MATEO

El Departamento de obras ptiblicas de la Ciudad de San Bruno tendrá una reunion de carácter püblico el 19 de diciembre iniciando a las 9:30 am hasta las 11:00 am en el centro de Bay Area Entrepeneur localizado al 458 Avenida San Mateo en San Bruno. El propôsito de la reuniOn es para proveer informaciOn y escuchar comentarios sobre el proyecto de construcciOn de las mejorlas a los sistemas de las tuberlas de agua potable y alcantarillas localizadas sobre la Avenida San Mateo.
El proyecto propuesto es parte del programa de mejorias para el reemplazo de la infraestructura que es muy vieja y anticuada. El proyecto consiste en la instalación de tuberlas subterráneas a lo largo de Avenida San Mateo (entre la Avenida Angus y El Camino Real) con el objetivo de proporcionar un mejor servicio de agua potable y aguas negras.
El proyecto estaba anticipado en empezar en septiembre del 2017. Hubo problemas obteniendo las tuberias requeridas para las alcantarillas y el proyecto ha sido dilatado y va empezar en enero del 2018. La duraciOn de construcciOn es anticipada de ser aproximadamente cinco (5) meses.
Durante el proyecto de construcciOn es muy posible que haya inconveniencias como ruidos, polvo, calles cerradas, y falta de espacios para estacionarse. Las obras iniciaran a las 8:00 am y terminaran a las 5:00 pm de lunes a viernes. No se anticipa ninguna actividad de construcción los sábados y domingos. Tres dIas antes de iniciar la construcciOn letreros temporarios se pondrán para indicar que el estacionamiento no es permitido.
Los representantes de la ciudad están Ilevando a cabo esta reuniOn püblica para explicar el contenido del proyecto en mayores detalles. Los representantes de la ciudad esperan recibir sus comentarios para asistir a sus representantes y contratistas planear el trabajo de manera que minimice el impacto en el area. La ciudad hace un Ilamado a los residentes, dueños de propiedades y negocios a que atiendan y proporcionen sugerencias. Esta reunion dará a los representantes de la ciudad la oportunidad de responder a cualquier inquietud antes del inicio del proyecto. La reunion iniciara a las 9:30 am en el centro de Bay Area Entrepeneur localizado al 458 Avenida San Mateo en San Bruno.
