San Mateo CA County Supervisor Pine On Filling San Bruno Park School District Trustee Vacancy -- posted 10/4/2017

As you likely know, there currently is an open seat on the school board of the the San Bruno Park School District. The four existing school board members will fill the vacancy through an appointment process.

Applications are due by 4 pm on October 9th.

It’s critical that committed and capable members of the San Bruno community apply to fill the vacancy on the school board.

The District will be making a number of very important decisions in the near term, and the new school board member will have a unique opportunity to help determine the future of the District.

Before joining the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, I was a school board member for the Burlingame School District and the San Mateo Union High School District. Serving on a school board is hard work, but is tremendously rewarding.

I would be happy to talk with anyone who would like to learn more about what the job entails.
