FREE Event: “Many Roads to Redwood City”
October 21, 2017 at 1 p.m.

The San Mateo County History Museum is joining with the Redwood City Sesquicentennial Committee to present a panel discussion focused on how people from all over the world have settled in the City. Organized by past-mayor Barbara Pierce, the program will be FREE for the public. It will feature individuals give accounts of their families coming to America, California and the City. Speakers include Karen Arimoto-Peterson, Arnoldo Arreola, Jim Clifford, former Mayor Dani Gasparini, and former Mayor Jeff Gee. The event will take place on October 21, 2017 and begins at 1 p.m. Afterwards, attendees will be invited to visit the Museum’s Land of Opportunity: The Immigrant Experience in San Mateo County exhibit gallery. Before and after the presentation, view the 150 Faces of Our Community digital photo project in Courtroom A.
