On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 3:55 a.m., San Bruno Police Officers responded to the report of gun shots fired from a vehicle in the area of Chapman Avenue and Terrace Avenue in San Bruno.
The ensuing investigation revealed that a dark-colored SUV, similar to a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Jeep Patriot, was driving in the area when the driver fired multiple rounds into the air. The vehicle then fled the area.
A thorough search of the area was conducted, but the suspect vehicle was not located. Responding officers did locate numerous spent shell casings on the roadway. No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
